Mills once ran on the water of the Outlet here. Around it is farm country, with Canandaigua to the south and the Thruway a few minutes north. Celebrations happen in halls, barns, backyards, and restaurants in nearby towns. Shortsville is about 32 miles from our base in Greece, so travel is about $35. Village streets can be narrow, so we'll ask where to pull in and unload.

We're doing a backyard party with a pop-up canopy. Is that enough cover?
It can be, if the canopy fully covers the booth and the ground under it is hard and level, like a patio or driveway. A canopy on grass won't work. Canopies also catch wind, so it should be weighted down.
What do guests take home?
A printed 2x6 strip from each session, right out of the booth. The attendant hands them over and keeps the line moving.
